LORRAINE KIRKHAM
Lorraine Shipp Kirkham, 75, Independence, a former teacher, died Nov. 1, 1991, at Baptist Medical Center.
Mrs. Kirkham taught at Robinson Elementary School for 18 years, retiring in 1981. She was a graduate of Central Missouri State College, Warrensburg. She was a member of the Blue Ridge Boulevard United Methodist Church.
She was born in Ouachita Parish, La., and had lived in this area since 1949. Survivors include two sons, Judd B. Kirkham Jr., Edwards, Mo., and Rodney E. Kirkham, Shreveport, La.; her mother, Gertrude E. Shipp, Dallas; and three grandchildren.
Services will be at 9 a.m. Monday at Newcomer's Floral Hills Chapel; burial in Floral Hills Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Sunday at the chapel. The family suggests contributions to the Arthritis Foundation or the American Cancer Society.
