Services in the chapel of Hixson Brothers, Alexandria, with burial in Butters Cemetery in Forest Hill; Bollar, 94, of Forest Hill died Wednesday, Aug. 2, 2000, in Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital; retired school teacher having taught in the Houston public school system; former member of the Texas and National Teachers Association, Delta Kappa Gamma, Alpha Pi Chapter and a volunteer with Homemakers of America; member of Glenmora United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Fred Michael Howell and Curtis R. Bollar.

Survivors: daughter, Jackie H. Coats of Forest Hill; 4 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers: Eric Duck, Tommy Mizell, David Mizell, J.J. Jeter, Wayne McGilvray and Brandon Wilson.
