They moved into Coronation in 1981, enjoying running water and gas heat.
Vera loved to grow flowers and vegetables in her garden, as well as many plants in her home. She read many books and magazines to learn about the world. Floor curling and playing crib were favorite pastimes. Visiting friends was a daily occurrence while in town. She liked to roam the hills at saskatoon time with friends to find a good patch.
She loved her family, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Each was important and birthdays were special events with cake, ice cream and gifts. Vera was always a happy person; giving of herself to all her family and friends.
