Funeral Services for Vera Johnson Dark will be held on Saturday, July 10, 2010 at 1 p.m. at Harmony Grove Church in Gaars Mill, LA. Officiating will be Rev. Robert Leach. Interment will follow in Harmony Grove Cemetery in Gaars Mill.
Mrs. Dark was born on April 28, 1913 and passed away on July 6, 2010. She was 97.
Survivors include, one son, Roger Dark and wife Debbie of Jonesboro, LA, one daughter, Peggy Lambert and husband Don of Little Rock, Arkansas, four grandchildren, Stacy Dark of Jonesboro, LA, Craig Dark and wife Amanda of Jonesboro, LA, Wendy O'Bar and husband Vince of Houston, TX, Steven Browning and wife Sandra of Manassas, VA, ten great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Dark was preceded in death by her husband Woodrow Dark.
Pallbearers will include, Johnny Templeton, Don Tucker, Butch Garner, Stanley Parker, Steven Dark, Benny Roberts, and Glen McBride.
Memorials may be made to the Harmony Grove Church, Gaars Mill, LA.
