MRS. VERA OWERS

LEESVILLE -- Funeral services for Mrs. Vera Owers, 56, of Hornsby [sic Hornbeck] will be held at 10 a.m. today in the Oak Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. J. M. Allen and the Rev. Wayne H. Reed officiating.

Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home of Leesville.

Mrs. Owers died Wednesday in the Confederate Memorial Hospital in Shreveport.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Ann Horton of Anacoco, and Mrs. Ann Campbell of Killeen, Tex.; three sons, James Green of Idaho, Gordon Green of Kilgore, Tex. and Robert Green of Waterville, Me.; one brother, Lincoln Koonce of Lubbock, Tex.; one sister, Mrs. Oma Wright of Florien; her mother, Mrs. Ollie Koonce of Hornsby [sic Hornbeck]; and 17 grandchildren.
