Funeral services for Vera Lee Arender, 73 ,of Baskin, LA will be held at Young's Community Memorial Funeral Home on Sunday, June 24, 2007 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Howard Childs officiating. Interment will follow at Baskin Cemetery under the direction of Young's Community Memorial Funeral Home in Winnsboro.

Vera Arender was born October 19, 1933 in Tallulah, LA and passed away Friday June 22, 2007 at her home in Baskin. She was a resident of Baskin, a Homemaker, and a member of the Nazarene faith.

She was preceded in Death by: Father-Lem Davis Arender, Mother-Alta Payne (Taylor) Brown, 2 Brothers-Henry Arender, and Houston Arender.

Survivors include: 2 Daughters-Geraldine Fife of Baskin, La., Jewel Arender of Winnsboro, La., and Brother-A.D. Arender of Exeter, N.H.

She was also survived by 5 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

The Pallbearers will be Paul Rogers, Bill Hales, Jason Ashley, Bobby Fife, Ryan Kimball, and Robby Smith.

The Honorary Pallbearers will be Ronnie Fussell and Bo Fife.
