SLAYTER, VERA ROBERTS
60 of Tioga, died December 10, 1975 at 8 am Wednesday in
Ball. She was a native of Winn Parish.
Survivors include her husband, Harold Slayter of Tioga; one son, Murrel
M. Slayter of Tioga; two daughters, Mrs. Elsie Johnson of Ball and Mrs
Rose Jordan al Alexandria; her father, George Roberts of Jonesboro;
three brothers, Bennie Roberts of Alexandria, Tommy Roberts of Pineville
and Alex Roberts of Jonesboro; two sisters, Mrs. Gladys Gillespie of
Woodworth and Mrs. Estelle Nugent of Shreveport, and three grandchildren.
Services will be held at 10 am Friday in Corinth Baptist Church. Burial
will be in Frazier Cemetery near Dry Prong under direction Hixon Bros.,
Pineville.
