FORT VALLEY--Verna Haywood [Rew], 91, died Monday, August 5, 2002. Graveside services will be held at 10A.M., Wednesday, August 7, in Oaklawn Cemetery.
Born in Taylor County, she was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include children Emmett Haywood, Fort Valley, Linda Murray, Fort Valley, Sandra Sinyard, Hawkinsville; sisters Iris Giles, Butler, Odessa Harris, Butler; brother Swain Theus, El Paso, TX; several grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at Rooks Funeral Home, Fort Valley.
