KINDER -- Funeral services for Vernice Lewis Lyles, 84, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 20, in Agape Lighthouse.
The Rev. Scott Coon will officiate. Burial will be in Lyles Cemetery under the direction of Rush Funeral Home.
Visitation is 11 a.m.-10 p.m. today in the funeral home and from 9 a.m. Tuesday in the church.
Mrs. Lyles died at 8 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 18, 2001, in her residence.
A native of Rosepine, she was a longtime resident of Reeves. She was a member of Agape Lighthouse.
Survivors include one son, David Lyles of Reeves; one daughter, Patsy Cavenah of Reeves; two brothers, Author Lewis of DeRidder and Horace Lewis of Lake Charles; three sisters, Willie Mae Stephens, Mildred Stevison and Hazel Midkiff, all of DeRidder; six grandsons; and eight great-grandchildren.
