Vernon Lemoyne Miller, a resident of Baton Rouge, died Sunday, Feb. 4, 2007, in Baton Rouge. He was 73, a native of Grangeville and a retired truck driver.
Visitation at Greenoaks Funeral Home chapel, 9595 Florida Blvd., on Tuesday, Feb. 6, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visitation resumes at the funeral home on Wednesday from 9 a.m. until religious service at 10 a.m., with the Rev. Joby Hartner officiating. Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Claudia Percle Miller; son, Vernon Dwayne Miller; and two brothers, Lannis Miller and Bobby Miller.
Preceded in death by his parents, James Vernon Miller and Byrdie B. Miller; sister, Agatha Miller; and two brothers, Dan Miller and Doyle Miller.
Pallbearers will be Leo Langlois Jr., David Percle, Mike Percle, Ken Gremillion, Charlie Langlois, Barry Ensminger, Jeff Miller and Casey Simpson. Honorary pallbearers are Ricky Miller, Travis Simpson, Adam Miller, Aaron Miller and Johnny Miller.
