Victor Benjamin Montgomery, 90, of Rock Springs, AR passed away August 2, 2017 surrounded by his loving family.

Mr. Montgomery was born July 7, 1927 in Snyder, TX to Joe Roy and Mary Evelyn Montgomery. He was a Mason; and a member of Rock Springs United Methodist Church. He loved to tinker and woodworking.

He is preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Lila Mae Collins; two daughters, Jo Carolyn Clampit, Vickie Lynn Montgomery; two grandchildren, Shannon Montgomery, Jamie Jo Clampit; and six brothers and sisters, Kenneth Montgomery, Nell Harper, Jack Montgomery, James Montgomery, Elizabeth Terrell; and Kathleen Barger.

He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Montgomery of Monticello, AR; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Gary and Esta Montgomery of Rock Springs, AR; Billy Montgomery of Rock Springs, AR; two stepsons, Lee Wallace of Monticello, AR, Tim Wallace of Dallas, TX; one daughter and her husband, Susan and Lynn French of Star City, AR; two stepdaughters, Mary Dean Wallace of Monticello, AR, Patricia Howell of Jacksonville, AR; one sister and brother-in-law, Sue and George Miller of Rock Springs, AR; twelve grandchildren; and thirty seven great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Saturday August 5, 2017 from 12:00 – 2:00 pm at Rock Springs United Methodist Church in Rock Springs, AR prior to Funeral Services.

Funeral Services will be Saturday August 5, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Rock Springs United Methodist Church in Rock Springs, AR with Rev. Tom Abney officiating assisted by Rev. Ray Hearron. Burial will follow at Rock Springs Cemetery in Rock Springs, AR.
