VICTOR SAVELL
IDABEL, Okla. -- Victor Joseph ``Vic'' Savell, 71, of Tom, Okla., died Monday, July 10, 2000, in a local hospital.
Mr. Savell was born April 20, 1929, in Silverena, Miss. He was a mechanic, a Baptist and a past member of Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Clara Lynis Mae Raney Savell, in July 1957, and one grandson, Mikey Savell.
Survivors include his wife, Wilma Savell of Tom; four sons, Morris Edward Savell, Jimmy Lynn Savell and Joseph Jackson Savell of Tom and Royce Ray Savell of Brownsboro, Texas; four daughters, Caroline Murray and Viola Fulfer of Tom, Rose Hensley of Oklahoma City and Lisa Brown of Idabel; three sisters, Evie Hebert of Texarkana, Rose Jarrett of Lexington, Ky., and Johnye Saevy [sic Johnnye Seavey] of Pearl, Miss.; one brother, Elton Savell of La Grange, Ga.; 23 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Tom Cemetery with the Rev. Ed Clark officiating. Burial will be under direction of Norwood-Coffey-Leonard Funeral Home.
