MRS. GEORGE W. CROSBY.
ENTERPRISE, ALA., June 26. -- (Special). -- Mrs. George W. Crosby, 58, died at her home in Goodman community Monday night following a few days illness. Prior to her marriage, she was Miss Victoria Roberts, a native of Pike County. She had made her home in Goodman many years.
Surviving are her husband; two sons, Walter and Herbert Crosby, of Goodman; three daughters, Mrs. Mattie Mae Crook, of Elba; Mrs. Mary Andrews, of Goodman, and Mrs. Mildred Johnson, of Tennelle; three brothers, C. E. Roberts, of Enterpise; J. W. Roberts, of New Brockton, and J. A. Roberts, of Samson; a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Woodham, of Enterprise.
Funeral was from the Baptist Church in Damascus Tuesday afternoon with the Rev. W. V. Wallace, of Mt. Pleasant, officiating. Burial was in the Damascus Cemetery, Lasseter-Butner in charge.
