Mrs. Whittington Dies In Indianola

Funeral services will be held Tuesday for Mrs. Victoria W. Whittington of Indianola, who died at the Kings Daughters Hospital there at 7:40 Sunday night. She was 93 years old.

Services will be held from the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Ida Day, in Crosby, with interment in the Day family cemetery. The time of the funeral had not been set Monday morning.

Mrs. Whittington was a member of the Methodist Church.

She is survived by five daughters -- Mrs. Day, Mrs. Pat Godbold of Indianola, Mrs. Nannie King of Lovington, New Mexico; Mrs. Ruth Baker of Greenwood and Mrs. R. H. Shilling of Friars Point; one son, J. M. Whittington of McComb, 45 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Power Funeral Home of Indianola is in charge of arrangements.
