MRS. VIOLA MILLIE PARKER

BAY SPRINGS, Miss. -- Mrs. Viola Millie Parker, 78, Route 1, Bay Springs, died in a local hospital Monday. She was a member of Stringer Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday from Memory Chapel in Bay Springs with the Rev. Julia Ward and the Rev. Artis Brewer officiating.

Burial will be in Bay Springs Cemetery with the following named as pallbearers: Charles E. Parker, James H. Parker, Clifton Parker, Elton Blackwell, Mack Parker, Willie H. Jackson, James R. King and Pierce Ray Cockrell.

She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. A. Q. Ford, Taylorsville; Mrs. Ruby Cockrell, Sylvarena; Mrs. Travis King, Pascagoula; Mrs. Virginia Stringer, Laurel;

Eight sons, Alvis Parker, Ollie Parker, Forrest Parker, Thomas Parker, Woodrow Parker and Willis Parker, all of Bay Springs; Norris Parker, Jackson; and Ira Parker, Davenport, Iowa; 20 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Memory Chapel is in charge.
