Emmons celebrates 84th birthday

Virgil Emmons of the Fairplay Community celebrated his 84th birthday on Dec. 16, 1991.

Family and friends threw a birthday party for Mr. Emmons. Guests included his wife, Myrtle Emmons; Nita LaGrone; Johnny Ray Emmons; Peggy and Johnny Haywood Emmons, Billy Emmons and Lynn; Joe, Nita, and children Jimmy and Brandi Emmons; Sammy, Kathy and children Bubba and Ashley Emmons; Mary and Art Mixon and granddaughter Jena; Henry and Becky and baby April Fault; Vicky Fault; Jo Nell LaGrone and daughter Brenda and her baby Rodger Glen McLane; Nelva Jean and son Jessie Wallace; and B.H. Emmons of River Hill.
