Virgie Crane

Funeral services for Mrs. Jim (Virgie) Crane, 89, were held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, February 9, 1981, from the Goodhope Baptist Church. Rev. Clifton Thornton and Rev. Leon Everett officiated. Interment was made in the Goodhope Cemetery with Ott & Lee Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Crane died Saturday in Forest Park, Georgia, where she had lived for the past 13 years. She formerly lived in the Goodhope Community and was a member of the Goodhope Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Charles Crane, Springhill, La., and James Melvin Crane, Baton Rouge, La.; five daughters, Mrs. Irvin S. (Ouida) Liber, Forest Park, Ga., Mrs. Curtis (Grace) Stokes, and Mrs. Ruth Cannon, both of Smyrna, Georgia, Mrs. James (Doris) Liber, Carrolton, Ohio, and Mrs. Alton (Merle) Harris, Milton, Fla.; 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Mike Crane, Robert Liber, Matt Liber, Rusty Jones, Wilson Walters, and Al Liber.
