SIKES -- Services for Virgil W. Sanders will be at 2 p.m. today in Hurricane Grove Baptist Church with the Revs. Kenneth Tarver and Ed Smith officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery under direction of Southern, Winnfield.
Sanders, 79, of Olla died Thursday, May 28, 1998, in Winn Parish Medical Center.
He was a native of Winn Parish and a veteran of World War II. He was a log truck driver and a member of Hurricane Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include one brother, James Sanders of Many.
Friends may call from 8:30 a.m. until the time of services today in the funeral home.
