MOORESTOWN, N.J. -- Virginia Tomme Ellis, 80, died Friday, April 26, 2002, at a local hospital.

Funeral: 8 p.m. Wednesday at The Lewis Funeral Home, 78 E. Main St., Moorestown, N.J. Burial: New Jersey Veterans Cemetery. Visitation: 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Memorials: Moorestown Emergency Squad, 261 W. Main St., Moorestown, N.J. 08057, in lieu of flowers.

Virginia Tomme Ellis lived in Moorestown, N.J., for 4 1/2 years. She retired from WDCA/Channel 20 in Washington, D.C., where she worked as an account executive for over 25 years. Prior to Channel 20, Virginia was general manager of the WEEL radio station in Fairfax, Va. She graduated from Texas Christian University, Class of '43, where her major was journalism. She was the wife of the late Wood [Ellis].

Survivors: She was the mother of Tomme Wood Ellis of Long Beach, Calif., and Cyndy Wulfsberg of Moorestown, N.J.; sister of Harold Tomme of Fort Worth; and grandmother of Aaron and Regan Wulfsberg. Lewis Funeral Home Moorestown, N.J., (856) 235-0009
