Vonceil Bell Fleck “Bonnie”
April 23, 1926 - March 21, 2014

Vonceil Bell Fleck “Bonnie” passed away on Friday, March 21, 2014 in Ft. Walton Beach, Fl. She was born in Shubuta, Mississippi on April 23, 1926 to Oscar and Maude Bell.

She married her husband, Thomas Fleck in 1947. After many assignments including Alaska, Venezuela and Washington, DC, they later moved to Ft. Walton Beach, FL. Bonnie and Tom loved hunting and traveled extensively to enjoy this hobby together, including Alaska, Western States, and Maryland. She also loved fishing and playing golf.

Bonnie was a volunteer at the Eglin Pharmacy for 17 years, and also was a faithful member of the Eglin Chapel.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Oscar Leonard and Maude (Hawkins) Bell; sister, Joe Ann Ogle, and brother, Charles R. Bell.

Bonnie is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Thomas A. Fleck, brother, Col. Jimmie E. Bell; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Thursday, March 27, 2014 at Emerald Coast Funeral Home, 113 Racetrack Rd. NE, Ft. Walton Beach, from 11-12p.m, followed by a service at 12p.m. Committal Service will follow at Barrancas National Cemetery, Pensacola, FL.

Bonnie was a “ray of sunshine” and was loved by all who knew her. Her sparkling personality will be greatly missed. Donations may be made in her memory to the National Wildlife Federation or to American Cancer Society.
