W.W. BARRETT
W.W. (Jelly) Barrett, 73, of Route 8, Laurel, died Saturday, Jan. 9, 1993, at his residence.
The funeral was held at 10 a.m. today in the chapel of Memory Chapel Funeral Home of Laurel with burial in the Union Line Cemetery. The Revs. Nonnie Jefcoat and Valton Douglas officiated.
He is survived by his wife, Doris D. Barrett of Laurel; five sons, Tommy Plisco and Richard Barrett both of Laurel, Billy Barrett of Marrero, La., and Larry and Jerry Barrett, both of Coffeeville, Ala.; two daughters, Darlene Lewis of Sandersville and Dana Bishop James of Slidell, La.; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The family requests that donations be made to Comfort Care Home Health and Hospice of Laurel.
Pallbearers were Tommy Plisco, Snake Risher, Pete Hill, Carl Monk, Ricky Gatlin and Eddie Herrington.
Memory Chapel Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
