BYRD, WALLACE VERRELLE

Died at 12:35 a.m. Saturday at the West Feliciana Parish Hospital in St. Francisville. He was 52, a native of Gloster, Miss., and a resident of Woodville, Miss. He was an employe of Joan of Arc Co. in St. Francisville as a building constructor. He was a naval veteran of World War II.

Body will be at Berryhill Funeral Home in Woodville, Miss., with visiting hours from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. Sunday and 8 a.m. until service time Monday. Religious services at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, conducted by the Rev. O.B. Beverly and the Rev. J.H. Cameron. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery in Woodville.

Survived by his wife, Mrs. Dorothy Clingan Byrd of Woodville, Miss.; four sisters, Mrs. Walter Reynolds of Alexandria, Mrs. Hal Hinton of Gloster, Mrs. Ralph Voories [sic Voorhies] of Baton Rouge and Mrs. Lonnie Galloway of Baker; and one brother, Rodney Byrd of Gloster.
