Walter B. “Bud” McCown, Jr.

Walter B. “Bud”, Jr., died August 4, 1997 while vacationing in Ms.

He was born July 29, 1917 to Walter B. Sr. and Marie McCown. He was raised in Anadarko, attended Eastman School of Music in NY and graduated from the University of Ok. He was retired from Sohio Petroleum where he worked for 29 years as a CPA.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Clifton McCown; and a sister, Eloise Hoard.

Walter is survived by his wife of 50 years, Sammie; a son, Blaine and his wife Debbie and granddaughter Beth; niece, Marguerite Belanger and sons, Brent and Madison; cousins, Neal and Lou Leech and their family, Mary Kay Wolf and family; a sister-in-law, Elsie McCown.
