Walter Fowler
(May 1, 1929 - April 3, 2006)

Funeral services for Mr. Walter ``Buck'' Fowler, 76, of Gilbert, LA will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, April 5, 2006 at Apostolic Faith Chapel in Gilbert with Rev. Virgil Harris and Rev. Curtis Harris officiating under the direction of Gill First National Funeral Home in Winnsboro. Burial will be at Oakley Cemetery in Gilbert.

Mr. Fowler is survived by his wife, Olla V. Thames Fowler; four children, Bobby Fowler and wife, Ivy of Groveland, FL, Earl Fowler and wife, Juanita of Gilbert, LA, James Fowler and wife, Elouise of Gilbert, LA and Lisa Parks and husband, Buddy of Winnsboro, LA; stepmother, Carrie Mae Fowler Lishman; four sisters : Bobbie Arnold of Gilbert, LA, Jewell Dean Umfrid of Dayton, TX, Maxine Campbell of Longview, TX, and Margaret Campbell of Crosby, Tx. One brother: Robert Fowler of Longview, TX. He also had ten grandchildren: Terry, Robin, Derek, Angela, Brandy, Lee, Angie, Crystal, Branden and Kensey, ten great grandchildren: Drake, Taylor, Justin, Bailey, Jonathan, Ethan, Alayna, Tyler, Raven and Destiny.

Pallbearers: Rodney Blackmon, Troy Kenney, Colby Davis, Kevin Lachney, Justin Barfield and Ernie Ezell. Honorary Pallbearers: Derek Fowler, Lee Fowler, Brandon Raynes, Justin Cyr and Drake Reuter.
