Walter H. Dunn

CLARKS -- Graveside services for Walter Holmes Dunn will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Old Bethel Cemetery with the Rev. Jimmy Goodman officiating. Burial will be under the direction of Riser & Son, Columbia.

Dunn, 88, of Grayson died Tuesday in St. Francis Medical Center, Monroe.

He was a lifelong resident of Caldwell Parish and was a member of Old Bethel Baptist Church. He was a member of McAbee Masonic Lodge.

Survivors include seven daughters, Patricia Barnhill, Clotill [sic Chlotield] Phillips, Myrtis Batson and Rachel Cruse, all of Grayson, Ethel Chapman of Glosster [sic Gloster], Miss., Kay Ellerbee of Columbia and Peggy Schultz of Urania; one brother, I.O. Dunn of Grayson; one sister, Ruth Rogillo [sic Rogillio] of Grayson; 22 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren and seven stepgrandchildren.
