Walter Jacks

RUSTON (Special) -- Walter Jacks, 54, died at a Ruston hospital Friday. Mr. Jacks was a merchant and a member of the Southside Baptist Church.

Funeral services were scheduled for 3 p.m. today at Southside Baptist Church with the Rev. H. E. Henderson officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick's Funeral Home.

Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Mary Alice Jacks, Ruston; two daughters: Mrs. Nancy L. Williams, Baton Rouge; Miss Jane Melissa Jacks, Ruston; two step-daughters: Mrs. Dorothy L. Williams, Charleston, S. C.; and Miss Carolyn Ann Fowler, Gretna; a son, Ramie T. Jacks, Shreveport; a stepson, M. R. (Pete) Fowler, Ruston, and four grandchildren.
