WALTER F. PIPPIN, of Slidell, LA, passed away on Friday, August 17, 2012 at his home in Slidell, LA.

Beloved husband of Lucille Rogers Pippin for the past 53 years.

Father of Cheryl A. Jackson and husband Bruce, Michael L. Pippin, Linda F. Mattern and Shannon P. Pippin.

Son of the late John F. and Estelle Hawsey Pippin.

Brother of the late Earl Ray, Robert Vernon and Harold Dean Pippin.

Also survived by 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Age 78 years; a native of Liddyville, LA and a resident of St. John U.S. Virgin Islands and Slidell for the past 45 years. He served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War and was a retired Master Plumber.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME, 1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), Slidell, LA on Thursday, August 23, 2012 at 1:00pm.
