Walton W. Arnold

GLOSTER -- Walter William Arnold, 78, died Oct. 28, 1991, at his Gloster home.

Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, with the Rev. Gary Bowlin, the Rev. Ron Boysel and the Rev. Julian Burt officiating. Burial was in Rosetta Cemetery in Rosetta.

Brown Funeral Home of Gloster was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Arnold was born June 9, 1913, in Amite County. He was the son of Hewitt Arnold and Vernie Jackson Arnold.

He was a retired crane operator for International Paper Co. and was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Gloster.

He is survived by his wife, Vada Lee Arnold of Gloster; two sons, Arlee Arnold and Walton Jackie Arnold, both of Crosby; two daughters, Verna Harveston and Eileen Ferrebee, both of Crosby; two stepsons, Monette Jackson of Gloster and Daniel Lee Jackson of Liberty; two brothers, LeRue Arnold and Lane Arnold, both of Crosby; two sisters, Arie Larimore of Gloster and Magdalene Bibbee of Parkinston, W.V.; 18 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
