Wanda Boykin Clay

May 23, 1950 - July 17, 2000

FERRIDAY, La. -- Services for Wanda Boykin Clay, 50, of Ferriday, who died Monday, July 17, 2000, in Pineville will be at 10 a.m. today at Young's Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Roger Johnson officiating. Burial will be at the Greenlawn Cemetery under the direction of Young's Funeral Home. Clay was born May 23, 1950, in Centreville. She was an electronic technician for Bell South and a member of First Baptist Church in Ferriday.

Clay was preceded in death by one sister, Lucille Boykin Bamburg.

Survivors include one son, Ivan Hedrick of Shreveport; her parents, Carl and Helen Boykin of Ferriday; five brothers, Joe Boykin of Ferriday, Wren Boykin of Natchez, Zane Boykin of Southhaven, Keith Boykin of Woodville and Freddie Boykin of Denham Springs; one sister, Dorothy Boykin of Denham Springs; and friend, John R. King of Pineville.

Pallbearers will be Stuart Boykin, Carlton Boykin, Barry Barrington, Greg Bamburg, David Hedrick, Jimmy Rowe and J. C. Robertson.
