BOSSIER CITY, LA.
Mr. Wayne Blackburn Grosjean, 78, of 400 Adair St., Bossier City, died at 7 p.m. Wednesday Jan. 7 at Bossier Medical Center following a brief illness.
Mr. Grosjean, a retired Mechanist at Tippett Tool Co., was born in Shreveport and lived all his life in Shreveport and Bossier City. He was a Baptist.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday Jan. 9 at Rose-Neath Bossier City Chapel with Rev. Billy Pierce, Associate Pastor of First Baptist Church of Bossier, and Rev. Kenneth Norris, Baptist Minister, officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery in Bossier City.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Moise Warner Grosjean; one son, Victor E. Grosjean; both of Bossier City; two daughters, Louise Grosjean of Dallas, Texas, and Donna G. Greer of Bossier City; one sister, Mrs. W.A. Tharpe of Natchitoches, La.; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Buzz Tippett, Travis Warner, Bobby Grosjean, Ricky Bridges, DeWitt Patten and John Miller.
The family requests any memorials be made to St. Jude's Hospital.
