Mr. Wayne F. Arender

Mr. Wayne Arender, age 86, of Vicksburg, MS passed away on Wednesday, September 3, 2014, at his residence. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 6 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Lakewood Funeral Home in Jackson, MS. Interment will follow at Lakewood Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 12:00 pm until service time at the funeral home.
Mr. Wayne Frederick Arender, was born November 12, 1927 in White Oak, MS. He was a veteran of the US Army, serving in the Korean War. He worked with Sears in Television Repairs for many years before retiring. Mr. Arender was a lifetime Mason with the Willis Masonic Lodge #92 in White Oak. He was also a member of Bovina Baptist Church in Vicksburg, MS.
Mr. Arender was preceded in death by his wife, Laura Farrar Arender. He is survived by his son, Marquis Wayne Arender and wife Patricia; his daughter, Lynne Townsend and husband, James; his grandchildren, Scarlett Ledford, Ian, Aimee, Emma and Laura Belle Townsend; and his great grandchildren, Ashtyn, Kolben and Karabella.
