Wendell Wroten

Funeral services for Wendell Wroten, 76, of Winnsboro, were held on May 25 at 2 p.m., in the Chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Winnsboro.

Interment was in Crowville Masonic Cemetery with the Rev. Buford Brady and the Rev. Marion Collier officiating.

Mr. Wroten was a retired farmer and a member of the Shady Grove Baptist Church. He died on May 23, 1986, following a lengthy illness.

Survivors include three sons, Sheron Wroten of Rayville, Bobby Wroten of Monroe and Michael Wroten of Winnsboro; one daughter, Marilyn Thomas of Monroe; one brother, Edgar Wroten, Minden; one sister, Mabel Peters, Crowville and five grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Doyle Hammons, T. E. Dillard, Bobby Burrier, Mike Roberts, Tim Rogers, Buddy Guillot.
