Wendy Sue Thomas, 42, of La Mesa died Friday. She was born in Van Nuys and was a medical assistant.

Survivors include her husband, Donald Berger of Santee; daughter, Lauryn; son, Jordon; parents, Susan Peterson of La Mesa and Dennis Zitterow of Santa Maria; stepfather, Gerald Peterson of La Mesa; stepmother, Sandy Zitterow of Santa Maria; sister, Gerri Cash; and brothers, Christopher Masilon and Matt Peterson.

Services: 2 p.m. today, El Camino Memorial-La Mesa Chapel, 8390 Allison Ave., La Mesa.
