Wesley Halford

Wesley Halford, 68, of Roxie died Oct. 12, 1988 in Jefferson Davis Hospital in Natchez. He was a retired U.S. Forestry Service employee. Mr. Halford was a native of Roxie and a member of Oak Grove Memorial Church in Franklin County.

Services will be held today, Oct. 13, at 4 p.m. in the Church of God in Bude with burial in the church cemetery. Parker's Franklin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

He is survived by his wife, Helen Halford of Roxie; his daughters, Louise Combs and Pollye Halford, both of Roxie, Maxien Buie of Meadville, Doris Foy of Houma, La. and Bonnie Simmons of Crosby; a son, James Wesley Halford of Meadville; his brothers, William Halford III of Vidalia, La., Riley Halford of Meadville, Kirby Halford of Bude and Billy Ray Halford of McCall Creek; his sisters, Rodie Halford of Natchez and Elouise Pate of Beaumont, Texas; and nine grandchildren.
