Wilburn Elmer McCarty

Funeral services for Wilburn Elmer McCarty, 78, Winnsboro, were held Friday, October 12, 1990 at Winnsboro First National Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bobby Brown and Rev. Jessie Boothe officiating. Interment followed in the Myrtle Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Winnsboro First National Funeral Home.

Mr. McCarty died Wednesday, October 10, 1990 at King Guest Home following a short illness.

Survivors include his wife Elsie L. McCarty, Winnsboro; one daughter, Barbara Ann Bolton, Winnsboro; one sister, Ruby Day, Winnsboro; one brother, H. B. McCarty, Winnsboro; and two half sisters, Joan Thomas, Winnsboro; and Katherine Dickey, Houston, TX.

Serving as pallbearers were Bobby Thornhill, Odell McCarty, Lannie McCarty, Dennis Bolton, Melvin Ashton and Mark Walley.
