Wilburn Freeman
Wilburn Freeman, 66, of Liberty, died July 13 [sic July 10], 2006, at St. Tammany Parish Hospital in Covington, La. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Franklin Funeral Home in Meadville, with the Rev. Jack Whittington officiating. Burial will be in Freeman Cemetery in Liberty.
Mr. Freeman was born Jan. 13, 1940, in Amite County. He was the son of Claude and Avis Bass Freeman.
He was retired from the Mississippi Forestry Commission, and was a member of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church in Amite County.
Mr. Freeman was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.
Survivors include his wife, Lucille McLain Freeman of Liberty; one son, Wilburn Freeman of Liberty; two brothers, Claude Freeman Jr. of Liberty and Jerry Freeman of Greensburg, La.; and two grandchildren, Michelle and Danielle Freeman of Liberty.
