Died at 8:25 p.m. Friday, Oct. 15, in Lafayette. She was 66, a native of Palmetto and resident of Lafayette. Body at Lafond and Son Funeral Home, Opelousas. Religious services at the funeral home at 3 p.m. Sunday. Interment in Myrtle Grove Cemetery, Opelousas.
Survived by her husband, Blanks F. Jackson, Lafayette; one son, G. D. Jackson, Ferriday; three daughters, Mrs. M. R. Holleman, Lafayette, Mrs. Robert Penton, Baton Rouge, and Mrs. Earnie George, North Carolina; one brother, Cleon Clark, Baton Rouge; two sisters, Mrs. Mason Clark, Los Angeles, Calif., and Mrs. Edward Breakenheimer [sic Brickheimer], Torrence, Calif.; 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
