W. A. Harris

W. A. Harris, 70, a carpenter many years, died at home here, 1115-15th SE, Wednesday at 4:20 a.m. after a heart attack.

The Rev. James Riley of First Baptist Church will conduct the funeral Thursday at 2 p.m. in Gene Roden & Sons chapel, and burial will be made in Meadowbrook Memorial Park.

Mr. Harris, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Harris, Sr., was born in Red River County, Nov. 29, 1882. He was a member of First Baptist Church here, and had been employed by Morris Misso, building contractor, about 12 years.

Surviving are his wife, the former Miss Edith Ford, and these children: C. E. Harris, La Crescenta, Calif.; Mrs. Eunice Zent, Dallas, and Mrs. William Caller, Texarkana, six grandchildren, and a step-daughter, Miss Valerie Cleary.
