Will Madden, III

RUSTON, LA. - Services for Will Madden, III, 14 years old, of Ruston, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday October 9 at the Temple Baptist Church in Ruston, where he was a member. Dr. Robert Magee will officiate, assisted by the Rev. Ronnie Walker. Burial: Simsboro Cemetery in Simsboro, La.

Visitation: 8 a.m. until 12 noon Sunday at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Ruston.

Will died Friday October 7, 1988, at his residence after a sudden illness. He was a student at Ruston High School, where [he] was a member of the Freshman Football Team, and was active in the Tae Kwan Do, participating in state and national. He was born in Ruston.

Will was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Vera M. Madden of Simsboro, his maternal grandfather, P. L. Dark of Winnsboro, La., and an uncle, John W. Madden of Ruston.

He is survived by his parents, Wanda and Will Madden, Jr. of Ruston; a sister, Monica Leigh Madden of Ruston; his paternal grandfather, W.L. Madden, Sr. of Simsboro; his maternal grandmother, Elsie Bennett Dark of Winnsboro, La.; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
