Will Whittington Dies At Age 95

Will Whittington, 95, a lifelong resident of Copiah County, died at the University Hospital Saturday after an extended illness.

Surviving are his wife; five daughters, Mrs. Robert Patterson of Terry, Mrs. John Hollingsworth of Crystal Springs, Mrs. Lallie Champagne of Louisiana, Mrs. Ronnie Burkett and Mrs. Norris Whittington, both of Terry, one step-daughter, Mrs. E. E. Hydrick of Jackson; five sons, S. W. Whittington of Louisiana, George Whittington, Cliff Whittington, Rev. Hunter Whittington, all of Terry, and Carse Whittington of Bogue Chitto; one step-son, Linton C. Whittington of Jackson, one brother, Luther Whittington of Terry, and forty-one grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at Baldwin Brothers Funeral Home, Crystal Springs, at 2:00 o'clock with Rev. James Curtis & Rev. Estus Mason officiating. Interment will be in the Terry Cemetery.
