WILLARD TURNER JENKINS

Mr. Willard Turner Jenkins, 89, of Waynesboro and formerly of Laurel, died Sept. 29, 2003, at Wayne General Hospital in Waynesboro. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Memory Chapel Funeral Home in Laurel with burial in Antioch Cemetery in Jones County. The Rev. John Hilton and the Rev. Brad Smith will officiate.

He was retired from Masonite Corp. and a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Jones County.

Mr. Jenkins is survived by his wife, Estelle Jenkins of Laurel; son, Tom Jenkins of Danville, Calif., daughter, Dee Robertson of Metairie, La., sister, Ann Etheridge of Flynt, Mich., three grandchildren, James Robertson II, Rene Kleker and Turner Jenkins and one great-grandchild, Rachel Kleker.

Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday at Memory Chapel Funeral Home in Laurel, which is in charge of arrangements.
