WILLIAM A. DUBY

William A. Duby, 71, a retired laborer, died in a hospital yesterday after three weeks' illness. He came here from Olympia in the early 1930's.

Funeral services will be held at 1 o'clock tomorrow in the Green Lake Funeral Home. Burial will be in Evergreen.

Mr. Duby, a former automotive mechanic, was born in Ord, Neb. He lived in Shelton, Mason County, as a young man.

Mr. Duby was a member of Local 242, Building Laborer's Union. He resided at 316 N. 76th St.

Survivors are his wife, Hazel; three sons, William C. and Ralph W. Duby, both of Seattle, and Dr. George D. Duby, Centralia; a sister, Mrs. Blaine Ishom [sic Eshom], Vancouver, B. C.; a brother, Phil Duby in Alberta, and four grandchildren.

Father Passes

William A. Duby of Seattle, the father of a Centralian, Dr. George Duby, passed away at Seattle Tuesday. Surviving, in addition to the Centralian, are the widow, in Seattle; two other sons, Ralph and William Duby, Seattle, and four grandchildren.

Services will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at the Greenlake Mortuary in Seattle.
