Mr. Allen Taunton Dies Friday Night After Long Illness

Funeral services for Mr. Wm. Allen Taunton, 86 were conducted Sunday, 3 p.m., at Mt. Pisgah Baptist church near Butler with Elder John Mangham officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery.

Mr. Taunton died at his home in Reynolds Friday after a lingering illness.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Margaret Helms, Reynolds; two brothers, A. J. Taunton, Miami; and G. M. Taunton, Butler; two sisters, Mrs. J. E. Cox, LaGrange, and Mrs. Lee Jenkins, Reidsville; and two grandchildren.
