William Alton ``Billy'' McCarty
A native and resident of Baton Rouge, he died on Sunday, April 5, 2009, at his home. He was 50 and an oil well driller.
Survived by his wife, Trudy M. McCarty; father, Ethan Alton McCarty; daughter, Jennifer M. McCarty; sister, Jacqueline M. Hue and her boyfriend, John S. Laurie III; two sisters-in-law, Billie Abat and Pat Daniel; and niece, Abigail Woodside.
Preceded in death by his mother, Erah McCarty; sister, Delores McCarty; brother, James M. ``Mickey'' Bourgeois; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bill and Betty Montgomery; sister-in-law, Mickie Montgomery; and brothers-in-law, Herman J. Hue and Tabby Crouch.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
