W. Bruce Crapps
August 10, 1944 - May 4, 2009

Mr. William Bruce Crapps, 64, of Spring Hill, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday morning May 5, 2009, as a result of a truck accident in Waverly, Kentucky.

He was born in San Antonio, Texas on August 10, 1944, to Grady Ney and Dorothy Mae Turner Crapps. He was a truck driver with the former Meyers Bakery, now Southern Bakeries for 22+years. He was a member of Northside Baptist Church in San Antonio, Texas. He was a member of Hope VFW. He was a Navy Veteran of the Bay of Pigs and the Vietnam War.

He was preceded in death by his parents; by his daughter, Charlotte Y. Crapps and by one sister, Judy Gainey.

HIS SURVIVORS INCLUDE: His Wife: (of 43 years) Darleen Vaughan Crapps, Spring Hill, Ark. Three Sons: Monty Otwell and Linda, Huntsville, Ark. William Crapps, Jr., Bentonville, Ark. Nicholas Crapps and Jamie, Spring Hill, Ark. Five Grandchildren: Koren, Lexie, Brittany, Cora, and “Soon-to-be- Jonathan Bruce Alan Crapps”. Two Brothers: Van Crapps and Lulu, Hondo, Texas. Grady Lee Crapps and Judy, Braunfels, Texas One Sister: Janette Karn, New Braunfels, Texas. One Brother-In-Law: Carroll Gainey, New Braunfels, Texas.

GRAVESIDE SERVICES will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 9, 2009, Huckabee Cemetery, Spring Hill, Arkansas, with Rev. Ron Eldridge officiating. Burial to follow.

FAMILY WILL RECEIVE FRIENDS: Friday, May 8, 2009, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.,at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home, Hope, Arkansas.
