Services Are Held For W. B. Hargrove At Noxapater

William B. Hargrove died at his residence at Noxapater October 21, at the age of 65, after a three months illness. The funeral was held Saturday morning at 10 o'clock at the Noxapater Baptist Church with Rev. W. B. Abel, pastor officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery with Green-Wilkes Funeral Home in charge.

Mr. Hargrove was a native of Louisiana but had lived in Winston County for a number of years. He was a member of the Noxapater Baptist Church, a building contractor, and a Mason.

He leaves his wife Mrs. Catherine [sic Kathryn] Carter Hargrove; one son, Charles Ray Hargrove of Franklinton, La.; one daughter, Mrs. Dueldean [sic Bueldean] Elkins of Santa Maria, Calif.; a sister Mrs. Eultha [sic Eutha] Mae Yelverton, Little Rock; a brother John C. Hargrove, West Monroe, La.; and five grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Harold Crow, Alfred Hodge, Dee McCool, John L. Young, Cecil Boswell, and Archie Carter.
