BYRD MORRISON

William Byrd Morrison, 92, of Camden, died on Friday Oct. 24, 2008, at Valley Oaks Rehabilitation and Senior Living.

Mr. Morrison was a U.S. Army captain during World War II. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church and was an avid Razorback fan.

Mr. Morrison was preceded in death by his wife, Donice Morrison; and a sister Hazel Parham.

He is survived by his son, Bill Morrison and wife, Denise, of Camden; a granddaughter, Elaine Evans; a great-granddaughter, Kendall Evans, both of Dallas, Texas; three nieces; one nephew and several great-nieces and nephews.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Bubby Ratliff officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Proctor Funeral Home in Camden.

Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church and Arkansas Children's Hospital.
