William Cody Iasigi
William Cody Iasigi, 21, a resident of Gillsburg, MS died Saturday, June 15, 2013 in Greensburg, LA.
Cody was born July 25, 1991 in McComb, MS. He was the son of William Chase Iasigi, Sr. and Janet Wall Iasigi. He was a 2011 graduate of Amite School Center. Cody loved spending time outdoors, hunting, fishing and trapping. He loved spending time with friends and playing football and baseball, loved riding motorbikes in motor cross and riding four wheelers. He also enjoyed cooking for his family and friends. He was a boilermaker and was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Liberty.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Joseph D. Iasigi, Sr. and Northan Newman Iasigi and his maternal grandfather, Bill Wall.
He is survived by his mother, Jan Wall Iasigi; his father and stepmother, Bill and Jackie Iasigi; his maternal grandmother, Geraldine Wall; one brother and sister-in-law, William Chase Iasigi, Jr. and Rainey all of Gillsburg; two stepbrothers and their wives, Gregory and Alison Evans of Marksville, LA and Joseph G. and Hannah Evans of Washington State; one stepsister and her husband, Katelyn M. and Joshua Shores of McComb and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Visitation is Sunday at Hartman-Sharkey Funeral Home in McComb from 5PM until 8PM and continues Monday at Gillsburg Baptist Church from 4PM until services at 5PM with Dr. Victor Walsh officiating. Burial will be in Wall Family Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Hunter Wall, Joel Wall, Sandy Sims, Dustin Iverson, Braxton Blalock, Will Bridges and Trey Bailey.
