William Blackman
Services for William Daniel Blackman will be at 2 p.m. today in the chapel of Hixson Brothers, Alexandria, with the Rev. Roy James officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park, Pineville.
Blackman, 53, of Alexandria died Monday, Dec. 4, 2000, in Rapides Regional Medical Center.
He was owner and operator of Blackman's Laundry and a member of First United Methodist Church in Alexandria.
He was preceded in death by his father, W.W. Blackman Sr., his mother, Elaine Curry Jones, and one brother, W.W. Blackman Jr.
Survivors include one brother, Richard B. Blackman of Alexandria.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. until time of services today in the funeral home.
