William E. ``Bo'' Cooley
Funeral services for William E. ``Bo'' Cooley, age 75, of DeRidder, will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, October 3, 2005 at Labby Memorial Funeral Home in DeRidder with Rev. Henry Herbert and Rev. George L. Glass, Jr. Burial will follow in Old Cypress Cemetery in DeRidder under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home in DeRidder.
Mr. Cooley passed away Wednesday, September 28, 2005 in Alabaster, Alabama.
Bo was born in DeRidder, he was a member of the Ludington Baptist Church in DeRidder. He retired from the U.S. Air Force after 21 years of service as a Senior Master Sergeant and a veteran of the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He later retired from Brown & Root. He was a lifetime member of the DAV in DeRidder.
Friends may call from 3 p.m. until 10 p.m. in the funeral home on Sunday, October 2, 2005 from 8 a.m. until time of services Monday in the chapel.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Betty J. Cooley of DeRidder; daughters and family, Diann Latham and her children Donna and Heather of DeRidder, Kathy and husband John Gregory and Michael and David of DeRidder and Tina and husband Kevin Parker and Christina, Brandy and Ryan of DeRidder; sister, Jimma Lee Foshee of DeRidder; six great-grandchildren.
